How to play
- This house belongs to the Ghosts. Some guests are still Living, and the Living don't belong. You can see everyone's card except your own.
- The deck has one Living card per player plus one or two more Ghosts than Living, so any number of Living can turn up, including none.
- Everyone has Boos worth 3, 2 and 1 (just the 3 and 2 at 4 players). Each beat, everyone places one Boo on another player at the same time. Each Boo goes to a different player, never yourself.
- Then everyone decides at once: run (you think you're Living) or stay.
- Right call (Living runs: Escaped. Ghost stays: Haunting): +1 per Boo in front of you, whatever the numbers.
- Wrong call (Living stays: Scared to death. Ghost runs: Spooked): you score nothing, and each Boo on you pays its owner its number.
- A game is one long night of three rounds:
Dusk is a normal round.
At Midnight, Boos go face down: you can see whose Boo it is but not its number, until everything flips at the end.
In the Witching Hour, every point counts double.
- Highest total after the Witching Hour wins; tied players share the victory.
